    Die Schalldmämmung mit Alubutyl ist neben der Kälte- und Wärmeisolation ein wichtiges Thema, da das Grundgeräusch bei Transportern nicht gerade gering ist. Es gibt zwei Möglichkeiten den Geräuschpegel beim Kastenwagenausbau zu reduzieren. Zum einen mit Bitumenmatten und zum anderen, und wesentlich besser, da frei von Schadstoffen, mit Alubutyl.

    Alubutyl besteht aus einer Schicht Butyl und einer dünnen Trägerfolie aus Aluminium.

    Warum wirkt Alubutyl schalldämmend und entdröhnend?

    Die schalldämmende Wirkung des Alubutyl kommt durch die Masse und der schwingungsdämpfenden Konsistenz des Materials. Da das Blech im Fahrzeug während der Fahrt in Schwingung kommt, erzeugt es ein dröhnendes Fahrgeräusch. Je größer die Blechflächen am fahrzeug sind, desto größer ist der Geräuschpegel. Um dem entgegenzuwirken emphielt sich Alubutyl auf diese Flächen aufzubringen. Im Anschluss kann auf das Alubutyl die Isolation aufgeklebt werden.

    Wo wird Alubutyl sinnvoll angebracht?

    Das Alubutyl wird am Besten an allen außenliegenden großflächigen Blechen angebracht. Vor allem dünne Bleche beginnen bei der Fahrt zu schwingen und erzeugen Geräusche. Zusätzlich kanndas Alubutyl auch auf die Innenseite der Türverkleidung von Fahrer und Beifahrertür angebracht werden. Je mehr Blechflächen mit Alubutyl beklebt werden, desto besser istdas Ergebnis. Nicht nur bei Campingbus-Ausbauten wird Alubutyl eingesetzt, auch im Car-Hifi Bereich kommt es zur Entdröhnung zum Einsatz.
