The mounting of the catch with case sealing, the inside O-rings and the blind of the lock cylinder impede the ingress of dust and humidity. The hilt plate has curved edges and therefore it allows an ergonomical safe grasping. The emergency opening makes possible that the lock can be opened from the inside at any time.
