Sika Aktivator-205 ist ein lösungsmittelhaltiger, farbloser Haftreiniger, der mit Feuchtigkeit reagiert. Er hinterlässt auf der Oberfläche eine haftvermittelnde Schicht. Diese dient als Bindeglied zwischen Oberfläche und Kleber.

Sika Aktivator-205 wurde speziell für die Vorbehandlung von Klebeflächen bei Benutzung von Sikaflex und Sikasil Klebe-/Dichtstoffen entwickelt.

Er wird sinnvoll bei der Verklebung von Materialien wie Aluminium oder verschiedenen Kunststoffen eingesetzt. Eine Probeklebung wird bei kritischen Materialien jedoch immer empfohlen.
